Tuesday 16. Together with Great Place To WorkⓇ, we organized the professional meeting: Trust-based leadership in practice: the key to change and engagement.
The event was a great success 🎉 – full house, engaged participants and lots of good reflections to take away.
Through two hours of professional development and inspiring stories, we explored what happens when leaders dare to be close, create security and make room for employee engagement. How can leaders not only create a workplace where employees thrive, but also a culture that thinks outside the box, drives innovation and actually implements strategies? The answer lies in the way we lead – with trust, closeness and clarity.
Highlights from the meeting
- Marianne Køien Paulsen (GPTWⓇ) put into words today’s challenges and opportunities in European workplaces with findings from the European Workforce Study. She contributed with her expertise on trust-based management and what characterizes the companies that succeed.
- Linn Huse Amundsen (NAV) shared powerful insights from real-life work situations and showed how leaders need to lead by example to create a good culture.
- Kenny Hognestad (Dobee) shared stories from changemakers who have achieved strong results using the OKR method and tools that create clarity and engagement.
- Magnus Moan (Visma Flyt) shared engaging and honest experiences from everyday management and addressed the challenges in larger organizations – where communication is key.
Why is this topic important?
At a time when change is constant, it’s clear that “soft values” like trust, presence and security produce hard results. The dilemmas of close management are real, but when handled correctly, they can be a driving force for both performance and culture building.
